Auditing

Assessment   and   analysis   of   terminals   is   a major   part   of   our   business   which   is   carried out    in    accordance    with    OCIMF    guidelines and   standards.   Working   in   partnership   with our   clients   we   undertake   an   in   depth   review of    the    Terminal    operation    and    provide    a detailed    report    on    our    findings.    We    will then   work   to   provide   a   program   for   those areas that are identified for upgrading. Disaster    Management    Planning This   encompasses   the   various   elements   of emergency     planning     that     a     terminal     is required      to      implement      and      includes Disaster           Management,           Emergency Response      and      Oil      Spill      Contingency Planning. Operational Risk Analysis Using   a   quantitative   approach   we   analyse the        complete        operation        from        an operational     aspect     and     identify     specific areas   that   are   subject   to   risk   and   propose mitigating   factors   to   reduce   the   impact   on the operation. Conceptual Design of Terminal Facilities  Working    with    engineering    consultants    we provide     the     link     between     engineering design and operational requirements. Small Craft & Yacht Surveying An   important   aspect   of   our   business   is   in conducting     surveys     of     small     craft     and pleasure   yachts   for   clients   in   the   North   of Scotland   who   require   insurance,   valuation and     pre-purchase     reports     on     a     boats condition.

Development of Operational Manuals &

Procedures

An integral part of our work is the provision of the full range of operational procedure manuals in accordance with best industry practice and latest industry guidelines. These encompass the whole operation on a flow through basis from the pre-arrival of a vessel until its departure from the port. HSE (Health Safety and Environment) is an integral part of any operation and is incorporated in the manuals reflecting the companies philosophy and best industry practice

A particular area of our expertise is in new projects including start up, where the team develops, in close consultation with the client, a marine operation that includes technical input and advice together with the required operational procedure manuals, disaster management planning, training, start up audits, and risk assessment
